11:21 a.m. - 2003-08-28 And now I just don't know what to say about it. So. Um. Yeah. 9:37 a.m. - 2003-08-28 I actually turned my television off for 10 minutes and tried to do something at least half-way productive. But the lure of crappy-ass programming called to me and I succumbed. I am weak! WEAK! And the saddest, most pathetic part of it allthe temptation came from Gilmore Girls. I would like to apologize to anyone who thought I had taste. Not that I like that show, please dont mistake me. I honestly believe the premise of the show is not the whole mother-daughter-on-their-own kind of thing, but a Twilight Zone spin-off about a town where everyone talks like the micro-minis guy and doesnt breath in between banter. I have a weakness for cheesy comedy-drama-love-shows. I need help. I hate Callista Flockhart like a dog hates a bony cat, but I still found myself glued to the television when it was on. Even in syndication. SYNDICATION! Old shows that I had probably already seen. Its sad. Its my shame. And dont get my started on Dawsons Creek. I managed to drag myself away from the carnage that was overly verbose teenagers in the unlikeliest of love triangles for the last two seasons, but the damage had already been done by the first two or three. My name is Lauren, and I am a sap-aholic.
