....blah.
I have done nothing today. Absolutely nothing. I have sat opn my ass for the majority of the afternoon and evening, watching crapy movies and telling myself that I should do something.
Cause I have crap to do, let me tell you.
First off, I've got this video to finish for my brother and sister-in-law. They only got married last August, and I finally started editing their wedding video a few weeks ago. Now, I've got just under 3 weeks to finish it, as my parents will be visiting said brother and sister-in-law at such time, and there's a lot of work to be done. But that's just first off.
Next on the list involves a little news that I would like to now share. It is officially official...I'm moving out of the old folk's place and on to paying my own way in life. Dave and I found an apartment downtown, paid a deposit and can move in as soon as April 1st. I probably won't actually move until mid-april, for various reasons, but I've got a lot of getting organized kind of things to do. It's all so very exciting, and quite nerve wracking as well, thinking about the possibility of not making enough money.
Which brings me to thing to do #3. With the big move, I'm not so sure I want to be sticking with the Fish House. Lack of money making ability, long commutes, and what not have made me think about getting another job. So, a job-huntin` I must go. I think I'll do that tomorrow. We'll see.
On top of of all of this, I've just got a lot of little crap that I need to deal with, as well. All in all, it's made for a very stressful day of relaxation. That's pretty much an oxymoron kind of concept, but it's very true. In my attempt to sit on my ass and not do anything, I've berated myself for wasting time, and worried about how I'm going to get everything done.
At the same time, it was good for me. I haven't had a whole day of doing nothing in a long time. So, I'll try to leave the major worrying until tomorrow. That's the plan.
